| News | Schwing Stetter India to unveil two new Concrete Pumps SCHWING Stetter (India) Pvt Ltd., a 100% subsidiary of SCHWING Gmbh, Germany, and a leading player in the Indian Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) equipment industry, has announced that it will be unveiling two new concrete pumps, SP 8800 and SP 2880, for the Indian market. Aimed at the high-rise construction market in India, the SP 2880 can pump concrete vertically upto a height of 250 metres, while the SP 8800 can pump concrete vertically upto a height of more than 500 metres. The two new products will be unveiled by SCHWING Stetter (India) Pvt Ltd at the prestigious bC India 2011 International Trade Fair, being held in Mumbai from February 8 – 11, 2011

The Sprawling 12000 Sq.foot Training centre offers Certified Training courses blended with theory and Practice. | Putzmeister Creates Record in Concrete Pumping in India Putzmeister has recently created a record in Concrete pumping at 1100 meters horizontal distance inside a tunnel by its Stationary concrete Pump BSA 1409D.
The 24 mw project has a tunnel of 2.5 meter diameter, length of 3 km and is situated at Bhilangana Hydro Electric Power Project, Ghuttu, Tehri Garhwal in Uttrakhand.
Steps followed in pump positioning and pipeline layout for BSA 1409D
• Pump has been positioned in reverse direction for more stability.
• Pipeline has been anchored with U clamps and base foundation has been done with steel and concrete.
• Shut off valve was fitted so as to stop the back pressure of concrete and water as the tunnel is inclined in angle from inside and the slope is towards the pump.
• Special concrete block has been prepared to block the thrust of pump to pipeline.
